to the joint workshop event "Lernen, Wissen und Adaptivität"
(Learning, Knowledge, and Adaptability), which will be held from Oct.
09-11, 2006 in Hildesheim, Germany. Like the years before, the LWA will host
several interesting workshops organized by different interest groups of the
German Society for Informatics (GI). They will provide insights to actual
trends, technologies, applications, and, most important, a forum where
established and beginning researchers can share their ideas. We believe that the
last issue makes this event different from others and would like to encourage
particularly students, beside delegates from universities, research institutes,
and industry, to submit their contribution to the workshop of interest.
Here is a coloured Flyer for LWA 2006
available.
The workshops of this years LWA will be organized by the
following special interest groups:
-
SIG-ABIS (Adaptability and User Modelling in Interactive Software
Systems)
-
WG-KD (Knowledge Discovery)
-
SIG-IR (Information Retrieval),
-
SIG-KDML (Knowledge Discovery,
Data Mining und Machine Learning)
-
SIG-KM (Knowledge Management).
For further information please visit the web pages of each group
by following the links on the left side. There you will also find the
Call for Papers as it becomes available. In general, workshop language will be
German but it is in the organizers responsibility to accept contributions of
others languages as well. However, you may want to check this in advance.
We are looking forward to meeting you in Hildesheim,
